Welcome to SherylsArt.com, the website of Sheryl Klein Aronson. Here you can view Sheryl's art on both Jewish and non-Jewish themes, in a variety of media including papercutting and colored pencil, stained glass and painted silk. Browse the gallery, purchase original art as well as prints, t-shirts and note cards. Coming soon, on the 'Try It!' page you will find instructions and patterns to create your own art.
The image above shows some of the tools I use in making my art. The first is a glass cutter, used in making stained glass. Next is a paintbrush, then an X-acto knife, used for papercutting, the fourth is a colored pencil (I like Prismacolor best), then a tjanting tool, used for applying wax resist for silk painting, and last, a carving gouge. When the 'Try It!' page is set up, there will be more info on the tools and techniques I use. |
